Heven Welcomes National Security Leader Michael Buscher to Head U.S. Operations
Heven is proud to announce that national security and technology leader Michael Buscher has joined the company as President of U.S. Operations. A retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel and seasoned executive in the defense and intelligence industries, Buscher brings decades of operational experience and strategic leadership to this critical role.
In his new position, Buscher will oversee Heven’s U.S. growth strategy, operational execution, and defense engagement—helping to scale our hydrogen-powered drone platforms across military, public safety, and commercial markets.
“Michael brings unmatched national security and enterprise leadership to our team,” said Bentzion Levinson, CEO of Heven. “His depth of experience across government, military, and tech makes him the ideal leader to grow our U.S. presence.”
A Legacy of Leadership
Buscher’s career spans over 30 years in government and private sector roles. He served with distinction in the U.S. Army Reserve, including combat deployments with U.S. Special Operations Command and intelligence leadership at the CIA, where he operated across North Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Today, he continues to serve as an Army Reserve Ambassador to the Department of the Army’s Major General.
In the private sector, Buscher’s leadership has guided companies across the defense, aerospace, and secure communications industries. He most recently served as Chairman and Managing Director of Consilium Data Services, and held senior roles at Fortem Technologies, Edge Autonomy, and BigBear.ai—where he helped shape M&A strategy, customer growth, and product innovation.
His board and advisory service spans industry leaders and institutions, including roles with NextTech Solutions, The George Washington University School of Business, and numerous national security organizations.
“I’m honored to join Heven at a moment when energy resilience and autonomy are redefining modern operations,” said Buscher. “Heven’s platforms are setting a new standard in drone endurance and performance, and I look forward to building out our U.S. footprint.”
Advancing the Future of Autonomous Operations
Heven’s hydrogen-powered drones represent the cutting edge of unmanned flight—combining long endurance, silent operation, and logistics simplicity to empower the most demanding missions. With Buscher at the helm of U.S. operations, Heven is positioned to accelerate its mission: delivering innovative aerial platforms that redefine what’s possible across defense, disaster response, and beyond.
We’re thrilled to welcome Michael Buscher to the team and look forward to what comes next.
