This past month, we reached a major milestone in Heven’s journey: the acquisition of Zepher Flight Labs (ZFL).
Zepher is known for its engineering excellence in lightweight, field-repairable VTOL drone systems with real-world durability. Their work reflects a design ethos we deeply respect—one focused on speed, reliability, and modularity. As we got to know the team at Zepher, it became clear that bringing our teams together was a natural next step – not just in expanding our capabilities, but in driving a shared vision for next-generation unmanned systems.
Deepening What We Do Best
At Heven, we’ve never been about technology for technology’s sake. Everything we build is grounded in our on-the-ground combat experience and oriented toward real-world missions. That’s why we’ve focused on long endurance and fast deployment — building drones that not only see, but do. Zepher’s engineering innovations will help us amplify those priorities. The team’s expertise in field operability and modular platform architecture perfectly complements our hydrogen-first approach, and they share our belief in designing for the operator first.
This integration opens up new possibilities for product innovation and will strengthen our solutions across defense, commercial, and emergency response missions.
Scaling Production with Mach Industries
The acquisition comes on the heels of our new partnership with Mach Industries, a leader in next-gen defense manufacturing. Through their Forge platform, we’ll be scaling production of our hydrogen-powered drone systems—including the H100, H2D55, and Raider—at their facility in Huntington Beach, California.
Mach’s vertically integrated, U.S.-based supply chain enables rapid, secure, and scalable production—something that’s critical as demand for high-performance UAS grows. This partnership also aligns with our commitment to reducing foreign component reliance and building a resilient manufacturing ecosystem close to our core customer base.
A New Phase of Growth
Between welcoming Zepher and expanding production with Mach, we’re entering a new phase at Heven. It’s one defined by speed, strength, and clarity of purpose. We’re more capable than ever of meeting the moment—whether that’s designing for complex operations, scaling to meet urgent needs, or delivering mission-ready systems at record speed.
To the Zepher team: Welcome to Heven!
To the team at Mach: We’re excited to build with you!
And to our community: This is just the beginning!
